ChemistryBytes.com was started in 2013 by Sarah Alvanipour. Dr. Alvanipour received her Pharm.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002 and currently teaches chemistry at Houston Community College. She specializes in medicinal and general chemistry, with research interests lying in STEM education advancement. Dr. Alvanipour is currently on sabbatical completing a Master’s degree in Education at Harvard University.
