Shape Up! An Exercise in Molecular Geometry
Instructions:
Print the table below and bring with you to class. There will be five stations set up, each dedicated to one of the following categories:
(1) Drawing Lewis structures (2 stations)
(2) Determining Molecular Geometry (2 stations)
(3) Determining Bond Angles
(4) Polarity
You will be able to spend time at each station to work on your molecular geometry table. You can also rotate from one station to another based on what concept you feel you need most assistance with in the activity. Make sure you are contributing to your station’s learning as much as you are taking! Remember, this is a learning community!
